Annual Ceremony to remember the victims and survivors of the Holocaust

The Holocaust Memorial Exhibition will be mounted, this year, in the Heritage Centre from Monday 14 January until Monday 28 January 2019, during which time a Book of Remembrance will be open for personal messages.

The Holocaust Memorial Ceremony will, once again, be held in the Café Courtyard, Market Place on Sunday, 27 January 2019, commencing at 4.15 pm, and the focus this year will be “TORN FROM HOME”.

The Town Mayor and members of Brigg Town Council sincerely hope that you will be able to attend, and join with others in remembering the innocent people, who lost their lives as a result of such atrocities, as well as those who survived, and those who make a difference.

With the completion of the new Holocaust Memorial sculpture on the Millennium Green, the final part of the service will conclude with a procession to there followed by prayer and two minutes’ silence.
